We are happy to join forces with Coronado Stone. They have been in business since 1960 and offer a limited 50 year warranty. Pre-cast stone is designed for ease of installation and therefore may be a more appealing option to some. We now carry a large selection of drystack stone that more and more customers have been looking for. This look is acheivable with natural stone, but usually at a higher labor cost and with fewer options. I know what some of you are thinking, "What's the deal? Is Southern Stone selling out?!"
I know what some of you are thinking, and the answer is no, we are not selling out. We resisted man-made stone at first, thinking that only natural stone could give the look of natural stone. But this Coronado stone really is deceiving. Each stone is a seperate piece and is individually hand painted for a natural look. Keep in mind that pre-cast stone is only about 2 inches thick, so it is only for certain applications. Natural builder stones (3"-5" thick) are stacked on a brick ledge, whereas Coronado is applied the way a natural thin stone or stucco is applied. Fell free to Contact Us with any questions. This stone is a special order and takes about 2 weeks to come in. A far better wait time compared to our competitors. We do have many sample boards for you to see in person and brochures for you to take with you.
